Christmas dinner, and 30th Anniversary celebration (1983-2013)
On 14th December I.I.I held its yearly Christmas dinner event at the unrivalled setting of Hotel Don Pepe, Marbella.
The staff was welcomed with a glass of champagne in the hotel’s reception area, and proceeded to the hotel’s conference room where the school’s general manager Julio Morales talked about the main events during 2013, such as the purchase of the new Marbella premises, the re-opening of San Pedro Alcántara school, as well as the new goals for 2014 which include the development of the teaching material and the creation of a franchise basis operation.
To follow Ali Edalat summarized the school’s 30- year history and the English department achievements during the year.
After these presentations we enjoyed the Christmas dinner. The Spanish department head Natividad Mata then explained enthusiastically and emotionally what the company means to her. And last but not least, Julio Morales Jr. closed the presentations by summarizing the school’s main events and activities and displaying a great sense of humour.
To round off the great event, some of us continued the celebration at a Russian karaoke bar, where we all had a great time.
Also worth a mention is the school’s deputy general manager, Paloma Llorente Torre’s idea of creating a ‘whatsapp’ group for the event. It was followed by most of us with hundreds of messages being exchanged before, during and well after the evening.
